Scope

Published online from 2003-2007, this magazine covered issues in electronic system architecture and design providing the premier source for information spanning system-on-chip (SoC) and overall system-design issues. This magazine also focused on system design going up to the application layer, and included the firmware and driver layers in the software domain, and the custom digital and mixed-signal hardware components that form an SoC or a complete electronic system.

Engineering & Technology

Content previously published in Electronics Systems and Software now appears in Engineering & Technology magazine. From January 2008, Engineering & Technology increased its publication frequency to 21 issues a year from 12 issues a year. Not only has the magazine become more frequent but it also includes coverage from the industry sectors previously covered by the other IET magazines.

The IET Digital Library will continue to host backfile issues of all ceased magazine titles. Subscribers to the IET Digital Library Complete Publications Package or the online version of Engineering & Technology (via the IET Digital Library) will also be able to get full access to all magazine content from 1994 onwards.
